Finding the right program of study amid all of the available options can be a challenge. Knowing your own interests, abilities, and goals is important, as is getting an overview of the wide range of programs and receiving insights and first-hand reports about interesting subjects.

JGU’s Student Advisory Center wants to help by showing you which steps you can take to get started in our “Choosing your degree program” presentation.

We will help you find answers to the following questions:

• Why does choosing a degree program and a profession seem so difficult?
• Who am I and what are my skills?
• What suits me?
• Where can I find information and insights?
• How do I go about it?

We also provide numerous tips and answer your questions about choosing a degree program to help you get the foundation you need to make a good decision and start into the degree program of your dreams. The presentation is primarily intended for those who are just starting to think about their choice of degree program, are very indecisive, or are having difficulty choosing between the wide array of options. If you have already narrowed down your choice of degree programs or need to check if your chosen degree program really works for you, you can see if there is a more fitting study orientation offer for you – but you are still welcome to attend the presentation.
