The purpose of the interview is to determine whether the applicant has the necessary aptitude and motivation to successfully complete the master's program in Applied Physics. The interview usually takes place two months before the start of the winter or summer semester and requires the submission of a one-page expos\u00e9 in German or English describing the applicant's motivation for enrolling in the program. The examination committee will decide whether the admission criteria are met, or if additional stipulations should be imposed. If an applicant does not pass the selection interview, they may repeat it once.
