Would you like to take part in a degree program where you can study multiple subjects, gain broader knowledge, acquire skills in various disciplines and only write one bachelor\u2019s thesis? JGU\u2019s multiple-subject bachelor\u2019s degree programs make it possible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Degree programs and subjects with a limited number of places are selective when it comes to who gets the places. Find out here how to apply for a selective degree program with multiple subjects. In a two-subject bachelor\u2019s degree program, you apply for a combination of two subjects. If one of these subjects is selective, the deadlines and instructions for selective degree programs must be met for the entire application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your university entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung<\/i>, HZB) states a subject specification, you can only apply for major subjects which match your subject specification. You can choose your minor subjects independently of the subject specification.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

If your HZB states a subject specification, it must match one of your teaching subjects. Your subject specification does not apply to your second teaching subject or for the subject of Educational Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

If your HZB includes a subject specification, you can only apply for the Business Education degree program if your subject specification is for Business Education or Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

Did you complete secondary school or further education outside of Germany? In that case, first obtain information regarding recognition<\/a> of your foreign certificates and potentially required German language proficiency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordion>\n\n\n\n

Per semester, non-European applicants can apply for a maximum of two selective degree programs<\/strong>. International applicants must prioritize their applications.<\/strong> The NC values published are for priority 1<\/em> applications. We will consider priority 2<\/em> applications only after applicants who applied for a specific subject with priority 1<\/em> have been admitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the application deadline for selective degree programs has passed, it is possible to submit another application for a non-selective degree program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Now it\u2019s time to wait until we have processed your application. This process can take some time. We kindly ask for your patience. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/jgu-base-section>\n\n\n

After we have processed your application and \u2013 if the program has selective admission \u2013 determined the successful applicants, we will inform you of the result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your application was successful, we will upload your official letter of admission in JOGU-StINe<\/a>. The official letter of admission contains the bank details as well as further information for transferring the semester fee, which every applicant must pay in order to accept their admission. Read the letter of admission to see which documents you must submit by when in order to enroll at JGU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will then enroll you as a student at JGU \u2013 welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you were not admitted, you will receive an official letter of rejection.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \n<\/jgu-base-alertbox>\n\n\n

We offer various programs and information prior to the start of the semester<\/strong> to help prepare you for the start of your studies before you get to know JGU and your subject during the introduction week<\/strong>.
