Much of the specialist literature is written in English. Therefore, your English should be good enough to read and understand these original texts. English is the recognized language of science for the subject, but you do not have to provide proof of your English skills before or during your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you know a second modern foreign language and Ancient Greek or Latin, this may be helpful for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should have a good grasp of the German language, both written and spoken, and be able to read and understand older forms of the language. You should also enjoy reading and composing texts and have a solid understanding of how to structure arguments in both written and spoken language.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-accordionitem>\n\n\n \n\n

You will study this subject as part of a two-subject bachelor\u2019s degree program<\/a><\/strong>. The degree program always consists of an academic major<\/strong> <\/b>and minor<\/strong>, which can be combined according to your interests or professional goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
