For some degree programs, there are more applicants than places available. These degree programs have selective admission.  You can find out here how to apply for a selective degree program with only one subject (Bachelor of Science, state examination program).

Winter semester: Mid-May until July 15

Summer semester: Mid-November to January 15

Read your chosen program’s degree description to find out which entrance requirements you need to fulfill.

The following selection procedures are in place:

  • For degree programs with a numerus clausus (NC – a minimum grade needed for admission), the places are assigned to the applicants with the best selection procedure grades in descending order until there are no more places available.
  • For degree programs with an aptitude test, you must pass the aptitude test beforeapplying.

Per semester, you can apply for a maximum of two selective degree programs. Once the application deadline for selective degree programs has passed, you can apply for an additional non-selective degree program.

You can start your application on our application platform JOGU-StINe.
