Are you verifying whether a graduate actually studied at JGU on behalf of a company? Would you like to have periods of study verified or find out whether JGU has issued a confirmation of exmatriculation?

If you are submitting the request on behalf of a company, please send the following by email, post, or fax:
- an informal request in writing,
- a declaration of consent from the former student, and
- a copy of the former student’s identity card

We can only verify periods of study. To obtain verification of degrees, please contact the student advising offices responsible for issuing degree certificates.
If you are submitting the request on behalf of a company, please send the documents in question along with
- an informal request in writing (request for verification of the authenticity of the certificates/confirmations) and
- a declaration of consent from the former student (letter of authorization − in German)
to Student Administration.
We can only verify the authenticity of confirmations and certificates issued by Student Administration. To obtain verification of the authenticity of degrees awarded, please contact the student advising offices responsible for issuing diploma certificates.
The appropriate examination office or student advising office is responsible for verifying the authenticity of diploma certificates. Please contact the appropriate faculty. The staff members there will let you know how to proceed.
