• What buildings will I be studying in later?
  • Where can I check books out, make copies, and research information?
  • Where are the best places to cram for tests, party, or take a break?
  • What sports and recreational activities does JGU have to offer?
  • And can students live on campus?

You can find answers to these questions and many more during a laid-back tour of the JGU campus for prospective students!

Our student ambassadors will show you the most important buildings and locations, give you helpful tips and tricks to navigate the campus, and share some insider information about life as a student.

The fact that JGU is the only university of its size to house almost all of its institutions and subjects in one central location means there is virtually always something going on on campus. Along with the institutions, you can find student residences, childcare and athletics facilities, cultural institutions, shops, restaurants, and cafés on campus. The botanic garden and the campus garden are great places to relax and decompress from the hustle and bustle of university life.

When you come visit JGU, we will share even more about what the campus has to offer, explain why the Alte Mensa (Old Canteen) bears its name, what exactly you can find in the Muschel, and even talk about JGU’s notorious particle accelerator and nuclear reactor.

We look forward to your registration!
