Are you wondering what climate justice and fair trade have to do with each other? Do you want to get involved in these topics and gain practical experience in a concrete project? Would you like to work in an international team, get to know committed people from other European countries, and together make a difference for our future?

Supporting our project, “FairTradeFuture: #ClimateJusticeNow” is your chance to get started!

We need your ideas and inspiration for a social media campaign. Get involved in a meaningful cause, support us with your skills, and help create more awareness for a fair world!

The “Weltladen Dachverband” (German Association of Worldshops) promotes the ideas and goals of fair trade as well as the work of worldshops to the public. We have long been concerned about climate change, the drastic changes it brings to the work of manufacturers, and its impact on people’s living conditions.

With a social media campaign, we want to raise awareness and show the public that fair trade is not only closely linked to climate justice, but is also essential for the survival of many people.

Together with students from other European universities you will attend several online meetings:
You will get to know the team, learn more about fair trade and its impact on climate change from an expert in the field and attend a workshop by an experienced social media editor who will teach you the basics of launching a campaign online. By designing your own campaign in periods of online group work, you will then expand on your skills in project work as well as team work and self-organization.

The project is organised by the “Weltladen Dachverband” and the “Career Service” of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and is open to all students of the FORTHEM Alliance.
